Bordering Khao Yai National park mountain range. 90km North-Northeast of Bangkok in the Saraburi, Kangkoi area. I am planting endangered rainforest "Timber" trees for our next generation. I am growing Golden Teak trees , RosewoodAquilaria Crassna and Mahogany wood some of the most exotic and expensive woods in the world. Unfortunately they have a maturation age of 50-100yrs and up to 100-200 years for the rosewood to get any kind of real value.

I am doing this project for three reasons: 1) My sister and I inherited the land from my Father, I feel that with an inheritance comes a responsibility. A inheritance is a great gift, a summary of a life's work passed on to our generation. I feel the responsibility to further the gift and improve upon it for our next generation. In this way, it is there for a time when needed. 2) Help reforestation on these endangered trees & rainforest (Timber management plan can be achieved)  3) Give descendants a retirement plan. The bulk of the "Assets" will actually be for our kid's kids.

On the shorter term side, tree's like the Para Rubber start producing in 5 yeas and have a harvest (Furniture use) of 20 years. I now need to achieve economy of scale, my target is 500  acres over the next 10 years.

As mentioned I am growing Para Rubber tree's, These rubber trees only grow in selective tropical rainforest, presently in Southeast Asia. 1 Acre will produce approximately 1,000 - 2,000 lbs of raw latex per year. (12 Acres x 2,000lbs = 24,000lbs). Approximately US $1.5 per lbs or $24,000 a year and can be replanted/harvested at 20 years for furniture wood.

So far I have two properties planted and am presently requesting more land from the Thai Forestry department.

As Para Rubber only grows in selective tropical countries, I see a lucrative market for our next generation!
